When news of the war in Newerth reached the Berzerker, he hastily left his frozen homeland in the North. Though he holds no allegiance to the Legion, the chance to face hell's demons is one the Berzerker could not pass up. An incredible warrior with an indomitable will, the Berzerker's reckless disregard for his own life gives him strength and power seemingly beyond measure, albeit at a risk. Once he has steeled himself, only death will stop him from killing his foes.

Chain Spike

The Berzerker throws a spike-tipped chain from his left hand at target hero that impales and attaches to them.
Range: 550
Mana Cost: 90/95/100/105
Cooldown: 14 seconds
Attaches a chain to the target for 5 seconds, dealing an initial 45/80/115/150 Physical Damage and applying a tapering 40% Movement Speed Slow and a Restrain.

After 5 seconds or on second activation, deals an additional 45/80/115/150 Physical Damage and Immobilizes the target for 1.3/1.7/2.1/2.5 seconds.

The chain breaks with no negative effects if target moves more than 850 units away or becomes Physical Immune.

 
Notes
  • The slow and Restrain is removed when the chain breaks.

The Berzerker's presence saps enemies strength around him.
Range: 600
Mana Cost: 50
Cooldown: 20 seconds
When activated, steals one Strength and heal 10 Health from enemy heroes within 600 radius every 0.5 seconds for the next 2/3/4/5 seconds. Stolen Strength is retained for 6 seconds afterwards.

Instantly deals 100/150/200/250 Magic Damage to non-hero units within range upon activation.

 
Notes
  • When Strength Sap is cast, it creates an affector around Berzerker which applies a charge of "-1 Strength per charge" debuff every 0.5 seconds, while also applying a charge of "+1 Strength per charge" buff to Berzerker for each enemy hero within radius at that time.
  • Whenever a charge of the buff and debuff is applied, the duration refreshes to 6 seconds. When Strength Sap ends, the duration of the buff refreshes to 6 seconds.
  • Removes up 4/6/8/10 Strength from each hero, equal to of 76/114/152/190 Max Health and 0.12/0.18/0.24/0.3 Health Regeneration from each hero (plus 4/6/8/10 Base Damage for Strength heroes). Berzerker can gain a maximum of 20/30/40/50 Strength, equal to 380/570/760/950 Max Health, 0.6/0.9/1.2/1.5 Health Regeneration, and 20/30/40/50 Base Damage.

The Berzerker sets his sights on his target, allowing nothing to get in the way!

Mana Cost: 50
Cooldown: 14 seconds
Applies Mark for Death to target for 10 seconds. While facing a target with a Mark for Death, you gain 40 Attack Speed, 15/20/25/30% Movement Speed and Unitwalking, with a 1.5 second lingering time.

Cooldown is refreshed on enemy hero kill or if an enemy hero within 500 units dies.

Carnage

Self
The Berzerker has no concern for himself, and swings wildly at his foes, slashing both himself and his target with the jagged chains wrapped around his arms.
Cooldown: 50/40/30 seconds
Activate to gain 30/50/70% Stun and Debuff Reduction, 100% Slow Resistance, and bonus damage equal to 5/7/9% of your Max Health for 12 seconds.

Can be used while Silenced or Stunned to break the CC.

You take 20% more damage while under this effect. Killing enemy heroes while Carnage is active will extend Carnage's duration by 5 seconds.

 
Notes
  • The bonus damage from Carnage is added as Attack Damage. The bonus damage is applied on attack, and therefore it is not displayed on the UI.
  • Carnage only reduces stuns and debuffs that are applied as a status effect. It cannot reduce stuns/debuffs that are applied by an affector (Ex. Deadwood Rotten Grasp.jpg Rotten Grasp, Myrmidon Weed Field.jpg Weed Field). In addition, Carnage does not reduce channeled disables (Ex. Pollywog Priest Tongue Tied.jpg Tongue Tied).
  • Carnage also does not reduce the duration of stuns that knock up or push the target (Ex. The Gladiator Pitfall.jpg Pitfall, Rampage Horned Strike.jpg Horned Strike). However, if the stun has both a knock-up stun and a state-based stun, then the state-based stun can be reduced (Ex. Magmus Lava Surge.jpg Lava Surge).
