Attributes are stats that determine a hero's base stats. Only hero units (plus Fire and Ice and Mauser) possess these stats, and every hero possesses initial attribute stats and growth rate.

Primary attribute[ | ]

Every hero has a primary attribute, which grants 1 Base Damage per point of their primary attribute. A hero's primary attribute is largely tied to their role, but there are exceptions. For example, The Dark Lady The Dark Lady fits well with Agility because her abilities scale well with damage and attack speed, but Moira Moira, in contrast to Agility, scales poorly with carry items and is played as support.

Strengthlogo Strength[ | ]

The attribute of physical force and power. Strength-based heroes tend to be large melee heroes with high maximum Hit Points. Strength-based heroes are usually brute force type heroes designed to initiate fights and absorb damage.

Strength impacts the following stats:

  • Maximum Health - 19 max Health per 1 point in Strength.
  • Health Regeneration - 0.03 Health regeneration per 1 point in Strength.

Agilitylogo Agility[ | ]

The attribute of speed and guile. Agility-based heroes tend to rely more on their basic attacks and often have skills that boost these attacks. Agility-based heroes are usually mobile heroes or carries that scale well into late game.

Agility impacts the following stats:

  • Attack Speed - 1 Attack Speed per 1 point in Agility.
  • Armor - 0.14 Armor per 1 point in Agility.

Intelligencelogo Intelligence[ | ]

The attribute of knowledge and power. Intelligence-based heroes tend to be small ranged heroes with high maximum Mana Points. Intelligence-based heroes usually rely more heavily on their skills than the other types of heroes, many of them dealing strong magic damage or providing early-game utility.

Intelligence impacts the following stats:

  • Maximum Mana - 13 max Mana per 1 point in Intelligence.
  • Mana Regeneration - 0.04 Mana regeneration per 1 point in Intelligence.
