Lore:  
Lord Salforis, Baron of Blackwal, commands necromantic powers that distinguish him from typical Hellbourne fodder. A potent sorcerer and general alike, his mere presence on the battlefield is enough to induce visions of fear in his foes, rotting them from the inside and draining their souls. Rumor has it that falling to his lance will doom one's soul.

Lord Salforis torments an area with unholy souls dealing damage to enemies and reducing healing they receive. The target will regenerate some of the damage done as health over time.
Range: 600
Radius: 250
Mana Cost: 75/85/95/105
Cooldown: 12/10/8/6 seconds
Target an area to blast it for 120/200/280/360 Magic Damage after a 0.65 second delay.

Afflicted targets receive Mors Certissima and regain 40% of the damage done as health regen over 5 seconds.

Notes
  • Mors Certissima does not reduce Health Regeneration.
  • Mors Certissima applies charges equal to post-mitigation damage dealt times 0.2 (rounded down), and each charge grants +0.4 Health Regeneration.
  • If Mors Certissima is reapplied while the health regen buff still active, the health regen amount is reset to match the current instance of damage.
  • Health regen from Mors Certissima is capped at +48 Health Regeneration per second (120 charges), which means Mors Certissima regenerates less than 40% of damage dealt if it deals more than 600 post-mitigation damage.

Salfori's blade thirsts for souls draining life from enemies. When activated, slows nearby enemies and causes your next attack to steal life from the enemy.

Cooldown: 8/7/6/5 seconds
Activate to inflict a tapering 40% Movement Speed Slow around you for 2 seconds.

Meanwhile, for 5 seconds or until you successfully attack, you gain 50 Movement Speed and your next attack is charged with nether energies, adding 60/80/100/120 Damage, converting it to Superior Magic damage, and granting it 70/80/90/100% Life Leech.

Passively steals 30/45/60/75% of nearby enemy's Health Regeneration giving it to yourself.

Nearby enemies passively are dealt up to 20/30/40/50 True Damage per second. This damage is split between all nearby enemies. Minimum of 15 damage per second.

On use, Toggle's off the passive damage.

 
Notes
  • Toggling off disables the True Damage aura, but will still steal Health Regeneration.
  • Total Health Regeneration gained from Dark Lord's Presence is capped at +127.
  • Illusions inherit Dark Lord's Presence, but deal 33% damage. The amount of Health Regeneration reduced does not stack.
    • Dark Lord's Presence is an aura applies a non-stacking 30/45/60/75% Reduced Health Regeneration debuff and gives you Health Regeneration equal to the amount reduced in integers. The True Damage portion of this ability is an affector, which stacks.


The Undying

Type - Superior Magic
Lord Salforis rips the soul from an enemy dealing a large amount of damage over time. While the target is afflicted, they cannot heal or regenerate health.
Range: 600
Mana Cost: 100/150/200
Cooldown: 80/70/60 seconds
Target an enemy hero to inflict it with The Undying for 12 seconds.

Grants a bonus 15 Health Regen while this ability is active, plus 3 Health Regen for every 100 of your own missing Health. Gives you the soul of the target if it dies while under the effects of The Undying, granting you bonuses based on the target's maximum health.

Deals 25/40/55 Superior Magic Damage per second.

Notes
  • The Undying negates any health restored via Health Regeneration rather than reducing it, so Lord Salforis can still steal Health Regeneration from the target.
  • With Staff of the Master, you gain 1 charge for every 100 Max Health the target has, which grants +5 Damage and +2 Attack Speed per charge, and restores 50 Health per charge when consumed.
  • With Staff of the Master, the soul is not lost on death.
  • Deals a total of 300/480/660 Superior Magic Damage.

Passively grants 0.8/1.2/1.6/2 Health Regeneration for every nearby enemy, up to five enemies.

Nearby enemies passively are dealt up to 20/30/40/50 True Damage per second. This damage is split between all nearby enemies. Minimum of 10 damage per second.

On use, Toggle's off the passive damage.

Target an enemy hero to instantly deal 50/100/150 Superior Magic Damage and inflict it with The Undying for 10 seconds.

For the duration, the target cannot regenerate or heal health, and takes 30/50/70 Superior Magic Damage per second.

If the target dies under this effect, its soul will be enslaved, granting you 25/35/45 Attack Damage and 10/20/30 Attack Speed. He may then consume the soul to gain 200/300/400 Health.

 

The Undying Effects

100% Reduced Health Regeneration
Deals 30/50/70 Superior Magic Damage per second.

Notes
  • Although The Undying deals Superior Magic, you cannot cast it on Magic Immune units.
  • Enslaved soul lasts 40 seconds.
  • The soul is not lost on death.
  • Deals a total of 350/600/850 Superior Magic Damage.

  • Lord Salforis is based on Dream hero suggestion, Necromancer by Passthechips.
  • Lord Salforis's name was chosen by the winner of the Name a Hero Contest. The winner of the contest was Salforis.
