The ancient sagas of the heathen north have long told to the tale of the battle-women known as Valkyries. For centuries, their ranks have thinned as the old ways have died out and civilization stretched its smothering hand over the frozen wilds. But some Valkyries still remain, cold and swift as the north wind, wielding their lances with expertise to rival the most veteran Legion warriors.

Deals an additional 37.5/75/112.5/150 Magic Damage to the closest target in a 200 radius.

Javelin of Light

Valkyrie hurls a Javelin of Light toward a target location. The first enemy hit will be damaged and stunned. Stun duration depends on the distance the Javelin has traveled.
Range: 7000
Mana Cost: 100
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Deals 90/180/270/360 Magic Damage to the first target to pass within a 140 radius of projectile. The target is also stunned.

Stun duration increases by 0.5 seconds for every 200/175/150/125 units the projectile has traveled. Stuns for a minimum of 0.5 seconds and a maximum of 5 seconds.

If the Javelin travels farther than 2000/1750/1500/1250 units, then up to a bonus 100/200/300/400 Magic Damage is dealt based on the distance that the Javelin has travelled.

Bonus damage scales linearly up to 6000 units travelled. Any extra distance will apply the maximum bonus damage

Grants 800 day and night clearvision around the Javelin; lingers for 3.34 seconds after it disappears.

Notes
  • The projectile radius of the tooltip is incorrect. The Javelin has a touch radius of 80.
  • The stun duration is calculated dynamically. For example, a level 4 Javelin that traveled 225 units should stun for 0.9 seconds. In other words, Javelin of Light's stun increases at a rate of 0.05 seconds per 20/17.5/15/12.5 units traveled.
  • The Javelin moves at a speed of 857.14.
  • The Javelin reaches its maximum stun duration after traveling 2000/1750/1500/1250 units.
  • Deals 190/380/570/760 Magic Damage at >6000 range traveled.

Valkyrie leaps forward, charging to battle. Her courage inspires nearby allied heroes when she lands, granting increased Movement Speed and Attack Speed.

Cooldown: 35/30/25/20 seconds
Transports self 630/690/780/840 units forward. Upon landing, applies Courageous Leap to heroes in radius around self.
