A stolid and stalwart defender of the weak, whether Man or Beast, the long-lived Armadon refused to take part in the war between the Legion and the Horde, and instead maintained a neutral haven amidst the strife. With the arrival of the Hellbourne, however, Armadon's choice became clear, and he hefted his mighty mace in the service of good. The gruff warrior is now a key hero in the New Legion.
Restless passively increases the bonus damage from Spine Vulnerability to 29/33/37.
Armordillo
[ E ]
Passive
Armadon fortifies his spines, reducing damage taken from the rear and sides. An extra spine burst is released based on damage taken.
Reduces damage taken from the rear by 18/27/36/45% down to 0% at 100 degrees from the back. Automatically uses your current level of Spine Burst whenever 150 damage is taken to the rear. This burst is independent from the main Spine Burst ability.
Impenetrable!
Notes
The amount of damage absorbed is equal to where the source of the damage is located relative to Armadon's orientation at the time when damage is taken. This applies to DoT damage as well.
Number of charges shown for Armordillo is listed as percentage towards the next Spine Burst. For example, 105 damage absorbed is shown as 60 charges.
Charges gained is equal to amount of damage absorbed after mitigation.
Armordillo will gain charges towards Spine Burst even if Spine Burst isn't leveled.
The actual formula for Armordillo's damage reduction percentage is equal to 0.002477(x^2) -0.15227x + 39.8871 and absorbs -0.0062(x^2) -0.3807x + 99.718 damage towards a Spine Burst, where x is equal to how many degrees the angle of the attack is from Armadon's back. This causes Armordillo to have a smaller damage reduction the closer the damage source is to the center, with a smaller effect for charge gain.
Armadon temporarily increases his Movement Speed and attack damage for every spell he casts.
Passively increases the stacking damage of Spine Burst per charge by 4/8/12.
Grants 10/20/30 Attack Damage and 4/5/6% Movement Speed to Armadon, plus a stacking bonus 4/8/12 Attack Damage and 1/2/3% Movement Speed for 10 seconds on spell cast.
Range:1500 Radius:650 Mana Cost:150 Cooldown:15 seconds
Target a location to become a ball and roll there. You are immune to Crowd Control effects during this time, and Armordillo applies in all directions during this time. Upon reaching the destination, Snot Storm and Spine Burst are applied to enemy units within radius.
On Ability Activation Applies one charge of Restless to self for 10 seconds. Each charge has its own duration.
Give me, give me caffeine!
Restless Effects +4/5/6% Movement Speed +1/2/3% Movement Speed per charge +10/20/30 Damage +4/8/12 Damage per charge
Notes
Each charge of Restless has its own duration.
Spine Burst triggers from Armordillo will not apply a charge of Restless.
Theoretically, you can have up to 10 charges of Restless up at one time (equal to +14/25/36% Movement Speed and +50/100/150 Damage), provided you cast Snot Storm and Spine Burst whenever it's off cooldown. This theoretical limit can can be increased by 2 if you use a Restoration Stone, and 1 more if you have at least +100 Cast Speed (technically achievable with at least +50 Cast Speed, but the uptime is only 0.1 seconds).
With Staff of the Master, Armadon rolls to the target position at 1500 speed.
Target a location to turn into a ball and roll towards it. While rolling, Armadon is immune to Crowd Control effects, and Armordillo now applies in all directions.
Upon reaching the destination, Armadon exits the ball and applies Snot Storm & Spine Burst to enemies within radius.
11.25/22.5/33.75/45% damage reduction now smoothly scales based off the angle you get hit from 0 to 95 degrees. Damage reduction is drastically reduced the closer you get to 95 degrees
Charges are now gained if Armordillo reduces damage and more charges will be gained the closer to your back
Example: 100% charges gained at less than 5 degrees, 95% charges at less than 15 degrees, down to 0 at 95 degrees
Charges will now overflow to the next Spine Burst up to 250 damage
Originally, Armadon's lore suggested he was a Hellbourne hero, despite being a Legion hero. Armadon's lore was fixed in Version 0.1.42. Armadon's original lore below:
Armadon could never forgive the humans who slaughtered his family, and when peace was made between the two races, he continued a private war of vengeance against mankind. Eventually his grief gave way to bloodlust and he fell into corruption, coming at last to serve the Hellbourne. With his dense armored hide and great strength, he has little trouble bringing death to his hated foes.
