In the darkest days of the war, when starvation stalked the land, it is said that some men turned to eating the flesh of the dead -- and then, the flesh of the living. Perhaps that is the origin of Dampeer, a monster who feeds on the lifeforce of his foes, spreading terror before his tattered wings, his pants the only remnants of his humanity.

Dampeer instills terror within nearby foes, damaging and disabling them and causing them to run around aimlessly.

Cooldown: 10 seconds
Deals 75/125/175/225 Magic Damage and applies Fear for 1 second.

Each Essence possessed will increase the damage by 45 and Fear duration by 0.25 seconds. Max Fear Duration of 2 seconds with Staff of the Master.

Dampeer takes flight toward target enemy, damaging and stealing life from foes he passes through.

Flies towards target, dealing 50/90/130/170 and healing for 10/20/30/40 Health for each enemy you fly through.

Each Essence increases the damage by 35 and heal by 10.

Like a bat outta hell!
  • Dampeer moves at 1300 speed during Vampiric Flight.
  • Deals up to 155/195/235/275 (260/300/340/380) Magic Damage and 40/50/60/70 70/80/90/100 healing per unit hit.

Passively gains 15 attack speed for each Essence Dampeer possesses.

Dampeer takes a massive bite of an enemy's flesh, inflicting damage and healing himself for the damage dealt. An Essence charge will be added to himself on every use. If it is used to kill an enemy hero, Dampeer gains 3 Essence charges.

Mana Cost: 100
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Target an enemy to deal 200/300/400 Magic Damage to them while Dampeer is healed for the damage done. Deals 35/55/75 more damage for each Essence Dampeer possesses and kills creeps instantly.

Adds an Essence whenever Consume is used, or 3 Essence if Consume kills an enemy hero. You may hold up to 3 (6) Essence at a time, which dissipate (lose 3) upon death.

To nom, or not to nom? That is the question.
  • Heals Dampeer equal to post-mitigation damage.
  • If the target was killed within 0.25 seconds of being hit by Consume, Dampeer will gain Essences from it, even if he did not get the killing blow with it.
  • With maximum Essences, a full combo on a single target adds an additional 285/345/405 (570/690/810) Magic Damage, 135/195/255 (270/390/510) heal, and 0.75 (1) seconds of Fear.


  • Dampeer has various item builds. Players often wonder what is better: Spellshards.jpg Spellshards or Hellflower.jpg Hellflower.
    • With Staff of the Master.jpg Staff of the Master max damage of all spells is 1685. On a target with Magic Armor 5 output is 1281. If you use Spellshards you ignore 3 MA and deal 1516. On a target with 15 MA you deal 894. With spellshards you ignore 9 MA and deal 1247 dmg. To compare with Hellflower +15% to damage; on a target with 5 MA your damage is 1473 and on a 15 MA target 1028. (Version 4.6.1)
