Fluffylumps is the Boss Neutral of Mid Wars, temporarily replacing Zorgath and Transmutanstein in Version 3.8.5 and Version 3.8.6.

Abilities[ | ]

In addition to these abilities, every 30 seconds, Fluffylumps gains 3 Damage and 150 Max Health. Fluffylumps stops gaining bonus stats after 60 minutes. Fluffylumps is also immune to Armor reduction effects (but not Magic Armor reductions).

At the beginning of the match and every day/night cycle transition (every 7.5 minutes), Fluffylumps will cast Apocalyptic Breath towards the center of the river.

Fluffylumps spawns with a Gold Pile next to him, which heroes can steal gold from.

Fluffylumps will be sleeping while not aggroed, and won't attack until either it gets attacked directly. There is also a small chance to wake up Fluffylumps while stealing gold from the Gold Pile. When awoken, it will always cast Tail Whip. Fluffylumps will go back to sleep after being out of combat for 30 seconds.

While its aggro is active, every 2 seconds Fluffylumps will perform a check. If there is an enemy hero within 650 radius, it has a 20% chance to cast Rain of Flames or a 2% chance to cast Apocalyptic Breath on a nearby hero.

Apocalyptic Breath
[ Q ]
Fluffylumps Apocalyptic Breath
Cast Time: 1.2 / 0.8 seconds
Target Position Enemy Units
Type - Magic
Cooldown: 1 second
After a 1.5 second cast time, Fluffylumps roars and sends a huge fireball down the river towards the center of the map. This fireball deals 250 + 20% Max Health in Magic Damage on impact and leaves flames behind for 5 seconds that will deal 150 Magic Damage per second to those who stand in them.

Fluffylumps will always use this ability shortly after the start of the game and during every day/night transition. Fluffylumps will also always use it shortly after waking up. During normal battle circumstances, Fluffylumps has a very small chance to use it as well.

Notes
  • The tooltip incorrectly states the fireball deals 400 Magic Damage and the flame trails deal 200 Magic Damage per second.
  • The fireball travels at 1000 speed and has a touch radius of 250.
  • The fireball destroys trees in a 300 radius.

Mechanics[ | ]

Spawning[ | ]

Unlike other Neutrals, Fluffylumps will spawn as soon as the game starts.

When Fluffylumps is killed, he will respawn exactly 10 minutes after his death. It is impossible to prevent Fluffylumps from spawning.

Fluffylumps's Lair[ | ]

Fluffylumps cannot be attacked from outside his lair. Any attacks attempted from outside his lair will show a pop-up as a Miss, but True Strike will not allow you to damage Fluffylumps from outside his lair. However, abilities will damage Fluffylumps, regardless damage type or whether the user is inside or outside the lair.

AI[ | ]

Fluffylumps will not attempt to use its abilities until it has been awakened.

If Fluffylumps is lured outside of his lair for more than 3 seconds, he will be forced to return to his lair. When this happens, any debuffs are dispelled from Fluffylumps, and Fluffylumps gains Invulnerability, Cliffwalking and Buildingwalking until he returns to his lair.

Fluffylumps will never attack Towers.

Bounty[ | ]

When Fluffylumps is killed, the killer will receive 200 gold. In addition, the killer's teammates will receive 100 gold. The killer does not receive this gold. If a non-player controlled unit lands the killing blow on Fluffylumps, it gives 200 gold to the team instead.

Unlike other Bosses, Fluffylumps does not drop any items on death.

Gold Pile[ | ]

When Fluffylumps spawns, there will also be a gold pile (Dragon's Treasure) close to him.

Right-clicking on the gold pile causes your hero to channel. For every second you channel, you gain 30 Gold, but each time you receive gold there is a 10% chance it will wake up Fluffylumps.

Changelog[ | ]
