Nedd the ogre was captured by the Hellbourne when their war with the legion overran his home. The Hellbourne used their demonic magic to alter Nedd, fusing him with powerful weapons, and lobotomizing him to ensure complete obedience. Now little remains of the peaceful ogre he once was. He's an abomination, a living weapon, a tightly-reined destructive force: He is Gauntlet.
Gauntlet is a versatile hybrid hero capable of dealing large amounts of spike damage with his three damage abilities. Skilled players may use Grapple to displace an enemy or ally a huge distance, while a well-placed Gauntlet Blast can allow you to selectively pick off opponents.

50% of both the Cooldown and the Mana Cost are refunded if he does not hit an enemy.

On use, applies Infernal Instability to self for 4 seconds and gives max charges to Enfeeble.
While Infernal Instability is active, Gauntlet's hand will detonate on the first target that he attacks.

The glove travels a fixed distance away, and the position you select is where you and a grabbed target is moved to.
If you select a position less than 75 units away from Gauntlet, it will simply pull the grabbed target to Gauntlet.

Both Gauntlet and the target are moved to the target location at 1500 speed. The grabbed target is moved to target position first, then Gauntlet will be moved there.

On Attack Applies Enfeeble to attack target for 4 seconds, applying all of the ability's charges to the target, resetting charges back to 0 if the target was a hero.
Max possible slow is 35%.
Applies Empowered to self for 4 seconds, gaining all stolen damage.

Stolen damage takes in account of Base Damage and Damage buffs at the time of application.
Each charge of Enfeeble and Empowered (self and enemy) has its own duration.
Damage is stolen in increments of 3 as charges. Charges gained is equal to (Damage * Charges) * 0.01 / 3, rounded to the nearest integer. Damage is calculated from the average of minimum and maximum damage range, rounded up.
Damage gained or reduced is capped at 126 charges, or 378 Damage.
Charges are restored to full over 16/15/12/7 seconds.

Shoots the glove out in a straight line toward target location.
Upon reaching that location, the glove strikes out at the nearest enemy hero, dealing 200/350/400 True damage and purging any buffs. The target hero is slowed by 100% initially, which decreases to 0% over 3 seconds.
After striking at the enemy hero, the glove flies back to Gauntlet, pushing aside any units it hits and dealing 100/150/200 True damage to them.

Shoots the glove first to the point clicked and then 600 units into the target direction. When an enemy is grabbed, deals 60/100/140/180 Physical damage and ministuns.
If an enemy is grabbed before the target point, just pulls him back to Gauntlet. If an enemy is grabbed after the target point (the "turn"), then both Gauntlet and the target are pulled to that spot.

Gauntlet is based on the Strength Hero contest winner, Mechanome by NinjaPants. Gauntlet was heavily reworked from the original concept, however.
Gauntlet is one of two Dev Heroes ever released, the other being Balphagore.
