Health (or HP) determines a unit's life force. Simply put, every unit has a certain amount of Health they can have at one time (Max Health), Health is depleted when a unit takes damage and once a unit's Health reaches 0, it dies. Health can be restored with Health Regeneration (measured in Health gained/second) or healing abilities.

Heroes have a base Max Health of 150 plus 19 per each point of Strength.

Health Regeneration Sources[edit | edit source]

Base Health Regeneration[edit | edit source]

All Melee heroes have a Base Health Regeneration of +1 Health/sec, and all Ranged heroes have a Base Health Regeneration of +0.25 Health/sec. Each point of Strength increases a hero's Health Regeneration by 0.03. Many non-hero units have some amount of Health Regeneration as well.

Reduced Health Regeneration[edit | edit source]

  • Slither.jpg Slither's Slither Toxicity.jpg Toxicity applies a 20/40/60/80% Reduced Health Regeneration debuff.
  • Lord Salforis.jpg Lord Salforis's Lord Salforis Dark Lord's Presence.jpg Dark Lord's Presence applies a 30/45/60/75% Reduced Health Regeneration to nearby enemies. Lord Salforis will also gain the reduced Health Regen for himself.
  • Lord Salforis.jpg Lord Salforis's Lord Salforis The Undying.jpg The Undying negates Health Regeneration rather than directly reducing it, which allows Lord Salforis to steal the full amount of Health Regeneration with Dark Lord's Presence from the enemy affected by The Undying.
  • Spell Sunder.jpg Spell Sunder's DoT effect applies 75% Reduced Health Regeneration.

Heal[edit | edit source]

Healing effects restore Health to units. Heals may be applied instantly or over time, depending on the ability.

The primary difference between Heals and Health Regeneration is that Healing is affected -X% Healing Received effects.
