Kongor and Hell Kongor are the Boss Neutrals of Forests of Caldavar. They are the toughest NPC units in the map, and killing them gives the team a significant advantage, and their deaths are announced on the map.

Kongor and Hell Kongor are located near the ancient camps on each side, with Kongor on the southeast side and Hell Kongor on the northwest side. Both are identical in terms of stats and abilities.

Abilities[edit | edit source]

In addition to these abilities, every 30 seconds while active, Kongor and Hell Kongor gain 1 Damage, 50 Max Health, 0.15 Armor, and 1 bonus damage to Slam. Bonuses stop accumulating at 120 charges, or 60 minutes.

Kongor will randomly use this ability as long as he is fighting at least 1 enemy hero (20% chance every second).

Spawning[edit | edit source]

Kongor is invulnerable and cannot be interacted with until 6:00.

When Kongor is killed, he will respawn exactly 8 minutes after his death. It is impossible to prevent Kongor from spawning.

Lair[edit | edit source]

Kongor cannot be attacked from outside his lair. Any attacks attempted from outside his lair will show a pop-up as a Miss, but True Strike will not allow you to damage Kongor from outside his lair. However, abilities will damage Kongor, regardless damage type or whether the user is inside or outside the lair.

AI[edit | edit source]

If there are 3 or more units with 230 radius of Kongor, Kongor will cast Slam.

If Kongor is lured outside of his lair for more than 3 seconds, he will be forced to return to his lair. When this happens, any debuffs are dispelled from Kongor, and Kongor gains Invulnerability, Cliffwalking and Buildingwalking until he returns to his lair.

Kongor will never attack Towers.

Bounty[edit | edit source]

When Kongor is killed, the killer will receive 350 gold. In addition, the killer's teammates will receive 200 gold. The killer does not receive this gold. If a non-player controlled unit lands the killing blow on Kongor, it gives 230 gold to the team instead.

Killing Kongor grants each player on the killer's team a permanent stat bonus. They can choose from the following:

  • +4 Strength, +2 Agility, +6 Intelligence
  • +4% to All Damage Dealt
  • +15 Movement Speed

In addition, the team will receive the Kongor Slayer buff for 3 minutes and restore 40% of Max Health and 20% of Max Mana over 10 seconds (removed on taking damage from enemy players). Gaining the Kongor Slayer buff while you already have the buff will grant the Kongor Decimator buff for 3 minutes, granting +80% bonus damage vs. structures and restores 80% of Max Health and 40% of Max Mana over 10 seconds (removed on taking damage from enemy players).
