Illusions are fake copies of a hero. To enemies, illusions look exactly like the original, but to allies, illusions have a green tint, and are easily recognizable as illusions. Illusions behave like summoned units, and have a limited lifetime.
Illusions can only autoattack, and cannot use active abilities, but can inherit certain passive abilities. Only certain stats benefit illusions, whether from abilities or items. Most status effects are also not transferred when the illusion is created.
Most illusions deal a portion of the original's damage, and also take much more damage from all sources, making them easier to distinguish from their effectiveness. Illusions are also instantly killed by certain abilities.
While illusions can trigger certain hero-based effects, they never trigger "On Kill" effects when killed. Illusions are controllable by its creator, but some illusions are uncontrollable and only attack its target.

By default, all passive effects propagate to illusions, unless stated otherwise. Abilities that deal damage deal 100% of its damage when used by illusions, regardless of its % damage dealt from autoattacks. Status effects from auras do not stack.
