The priests tell young men bound for the battlefield that if they fall, Elysian fields and peace awaits them. But this is not strictly true, not as long as the Soulstealer walks the battlefield. Gathering the spirits of those he kills in a bloody, shadowy sack, he augments his own power with their suffering. Those who see him quake in terror to know that death, for them, will be no release, but only a fiery captivity and oblivion.
Soulstealer is one of the most rounded heroes in the game, featuring mana-efficient but damaging magical spells but also high Physical Damage. Soulstealer's only weaknesses are a lack of survivability and mobility, but these can be remedied by amassing wealth.

Soulstealer steals the souls of all he vanquishes, increasing his damage as his collection grows. Also grants +50 Cast Speed.
Passively grants you a Soul when you kill a unit, up to a maximum of 10/20/30/40(20/30/40/50) Souls. Each Soul adds 2 Attack Damage. Hero kills grant 4/6/8/10 charges to Soulsteal.
Dying will cause you to lose 40% of your charges.

Soul Burst's affector is an expanding ring that starts at 200 radius and expands to 1000 over 0.95 seconds. The ring has a width of 500.
Damage formula:
Maximum damage is dealt at 50 radius.
Otherwise, damage is equal to (0.5 * [Distance_Factor^2 + Distance_Factor]) * Max_Potential_Damage, where:
Armor penalty for enemies increased from 2/3/4/5 to 3/4/5/6.
Now also passively grants Soulstealer 0.5/1/1.5/2 Magic Armor Penetration.

Damage per soul calculations from Soul Burst becomes proportionally readjusted relative to the new Max Soul count when Staff of the Master's effects are active on Soulstealer.
Affector lifetime decreased from {1000ms to 950ms}.
Soul Burst's affector shape changed from an expanding circle to an expanding ring.
This allows enemy heroes to not be affected by Soul Burst if they enter its "dead zone" while Soul Burst's hitboxes are still active (i.e. enemy heroes can blink on top of Soulstealer ~0.7 seconds after Soul Burst is cast and not be affected by the skill).
Armor reduction improved from -1/-2/-3/-4 to -2/-3/-4/-5 armor.

The damaging torrent and the Soul Burst debuff radius are seperate.
Torrents are spread out evenly around Soulstealer.
The torrent is a cone that starts with 75/100/125 radius, travels 825/800/775 units, and ends with 400/425/450 radius.
Each torrent travels up to 1300/1325/1350 units. The larger starting radius makes it slightly more reliable to obtain the full damage at very close distance.
The debuff radius is a circle centered around Soulstealer, expanding to 700 radius over 1 second.
The maximum damage obtainable with Soul Burst is 1200/1800/2400 (with Level 4 Soulsteal), but it requires Soulstealer's hitbox to be inside the unit's by using Unitwalking.
Since the startup is based on cast time, if Soulstealer is stealthed while casting Soul Burst, he will not be unstealthed until Soul Burst goes off.
