Stun is a status effect that completely disables a unit. A unit that's stunned cannot attack, move, or use abilities or items. Stuns also interrupt channeling and the animation a unit may be performing.

Stuns essentially act as a combination of Silence, Disarm, Immobilize, and Perplex (minus disabling certain abilities that Immobilize does). Most stuns cannot be dispelled by normal means, although certain abilities explicitly remove stuns. Certain stuns cannot be removed nor reduced by Stun Duration Reduction, namely stuns that launch units into the air or uses an affector that constantly applies a stun state.
