The elusive chiprel race has spent countless years avoiding conflict, but the Hellbourne are not a threat easily ignored. The Chipper has taken action, piloting an advanced tactical combat and acorn collection machine. Armed with missiles, tar dispensers, and deployable saw blades, The Chipper is ready for war.

Rocket Barrage

Type - Magic
The Chipper can fire a small rocket in any direction from the dome on the top of his walker. The rocket will mini-stun, deal damage, and cause Tar to light on fire.
Range: 3000
Mana Cost: 40/50/60/70
Deals 90/105/120/135 Magic Damage on impact and stuns for .1 seconds. Gains one charge every 3 seconds. Max of 1/2/3/4 charges.

If the target is covered in Tar by Tar Toss, they will catch on fire and burn for 15/20/25/30 Magic Damage per second per rocket for the rest of the slow.

Each rocket gives 400 day and night clearvision while in flight.

Don't aim, just fire!
  • Rockets travel at 1000 speed.
  • Rockets have a touch radius of 70.
  • Vision lingers for 1.5 seconds after hitting a unit.
  • Does not hit or damage Neutral units.

Tar Toss

The Chipper heaves a spoonful of his own special tar solution at the target location. Any enemies hit on impact are slowed and those who take the full force of the hit will find themselves barely able to move.
Range: 700
Radius: 300
Mana Cost: 50/65/80/95
Cooldown: 18/15/12/9 seconds
Applies Tar Covered to anyone hit for 2/3/4/5 seconds. Reduces Attack Speed and Movement Speed based on how close they are to the center upon impact. The closer they are, the more they are slowed.

Maximum is 20/40/60/80% Movement and 10/20/30/40% Attack Speed slow.

  • The Tar lands at the target position after 0.75 seconds.

The Chipper channels the energy of a neutron field into a temporary phase barrier for one of his allies, guarding them against Magic Damage.

Applies Focus Buffer to target for 20 seconds.
This is a highly complex operation!

Focus Buffer Effects
Absorbs 125/250/375/500 Magic Damage. The Chipper receives mana equal to half the damage absorbed.

  • Absorbs pre-mitigation damage.
  • Restores up to a net total of -12.5/+50/+112.5/+175 Mana.
  • Bypasses Magic Immunity on ally heroes.

Sawblade Showdown (Sawblade Massacre)

Type - Magic (Superior Magic)
The Chipper is able to communicate with the Chiprels underground, calling upon them to push spinning sawblades out of the ground where he directs them to. Anyone unfortunate enough to be in their sharp path takes significant damage.
Range: 700 (1000)
Radius: 400
Mana Cost: 140/180/220
Cooldown: 65/55/45 seconds
Spawns saws for 8 seconds. Applies Sawblade and Sawblade Crippled to any enemy who walks into the spinning blades. Saws destroy trees, obviously. Grants 200 day and night clearvision along the saws while active.
Control and some element X does the trick.

75/125/175 Magic Damage per second

Sawblade Crippled Effects
90% Movement speed slow initially, which wears off over 4 seconds.

  • Sawblades have a length of 800 and a touch radius of 100.
  • Staff of the Master slow is Superior Magic.
  • SotM slow persists while in the Sawblades.
