Armor is a stat which affects physical damage taken. Armor reduces physical damage by a percentage, but having a negative amount of Armor increases the damage from physical attacks. Armor does not affect damage taken from Magic or True damage.

Armor Penetration ignores a certain amount of armor. Unlike Armor reduction, Armor Penetration benefits only the user. Armor Penetration will only ignore up to how much armor the target has, has no effect if armor value is negative.
